Claiming Devices

Sign in using your log in credentials for DT Studio

Select the organization (Customer) you will be installing devices at

Select the store you are installing at.  You can type in the store # or scroll the list to find it.  

Start by clicking the + Install button

To install CCON's click the Install Manually button in the top right corner

Select the CCON asset template and click the next button

Type in the name for the CCON in the field provided. CCON naming convention should be CCON - Store # for example at store 1234 the CCON should be named CCON - 1234

After filling in the field, click the next button.

Click on the box that says Tap to scan QR code on device.

A pop up will show up asking for access to your phone camera.  Click allow

Review the install details related to the device that you are claiming and the name of the device.  Once reviewed, click the install button

Once the configuration of the device is complete, you will see the green checkmark and Setup complete!  Click Go Home to install the next device.

Click the + Install button

Find the asset ID tag on the equipment.  Match the asset ID on the tag to the asset ID in the install tool.  Click on the correct asset

If all of the fields are filled out, confirm the asset ID and click the next button.  If the asset ID field is empty, find the asset tag on the equipment and type in the # into the available field then click the next button.

Click on the box that says Tap to scan QR code on device.

A pop up will show up asking for access to your phone camera.  Click allow

Review the install details related to the device that you are claiming and the name of the device.  Once reviewed, click the install button

The screen will prompt you to touch the sensor to complete configuration.  Continue to tap the front of the device (directly on the QR code) until the configuration is complete and you see the green checkmark.  

For probe sensors, you will not be prompted to touch the sensor.

Once the configuration of the device is complete, you will see the green checkmark and Setup complete!  Click Go Home to install the next device.

If you need to remove a device that has already been installed, click on the device in the list of installed devices.  When the device details open, click the delete button.  This will move the device to the organizations inventory project.
