Check In Process:
Proceed to the cashier area and ask for the Manager on Duty (MOD)
Notify the MOD that you are there to install temperature sensors in their equipment. They should be aware that this work is scheduled.
If they are not, direct them to contact Kwik Trip Operations Support to verify the work that is being completed. They should have the phone number but if not, it is 1-608-793-6267
Check Out Process:
After completion of the installation, review the sensor data for the Hot Spot units.
If any of the units is reading over 180° F the MOD needs to be notified
Ask to speak to the MOD
Notify them that the work is complete and if any of the Hot Spot units are operating over 180° F
Check out with the Field Advantage RTS team prior to leaving the site
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Once you enter the kitchen at any of the sites, PPE is required to be in a food service area
PPE required for the site is a hair net and beard net
Each site will have a PPE Station located at the entrance to the kitchen
Locating Asset Tags
The first step in installing any sensor will be locating the asset tag on the machine. This asset # will be referenced in the DT Installer to ensure that you are installing the sensor on the correct piece of equipment
If there is no Asset ID listed on the device in the DT Installer, locate the asset tag and while installing, the DT Installer will prompt you to enter the Asset ID.
Locations of the asset tag on equipment may vary. Kwik Tip has provided a list of where asset tags can be located. This list is not all inclusive so the installer may need to search for the asset tag on the equipment. See below as a reference for possible locations:

Inside left side wall above serial plate
Creamer Cooler - Creamiser
Top left side above temp control
Hot Holding Warmer
Lower right corner of machine
Top left front of machine
Hot Spot
Location varies. Will be on external survace of the unit. Possibly on the back toward the bottom or top left or right corner
Karuba Gold
Top left side of machine
Kitchen Cooler/Freezer (1,2,3,4,5 door)
Inside left side wall above serial plate
Top left side of machine
Nitro Machine
Inside front door top left
Single Door Glass Cooler

Capturing Install Exceptions
Capturing installation exceptions is a critical component of completing an installation at Kwik Trip sites.
Field Advantage will capture picture deliverables in the JotForm format and should also collect all installation exceptions in this format as well
Examples of Install Exceptions:
One of the pieces of equipment to be installed (on the list in the installer) was not at the store. List the asset that was not at the store
Additional assets were at the store that sensors were not installed in. List the asset type and the asset tag number
Asset was on site but the asset number was not accurate. List the asset that was installed and the correct asset number
List any other deviations from the initially planned installation
