1. Locate the asset tag on the unit and match the asset ID to the sensor you are claiming in the DT Installer. For guidance on the location of asset tags review Asset Tag Locations 

2. Remove the product and shelving from inside the unit.  Product will be hot.  Use gloves or dry towels to remove items.

3. The probe sensor will be mounted vertically on the side of the unit that has the door hinges.  Be sure to clean and dry the surface before installing

4. The probe wire will run over the top of the top door hinge to enter the unit.

5. The probe wire should be attached to the inside of the unit with high temp cable ties.

   • Toward the front of the unit on the bracket that holds the shelving

6. Ensure that the slack from the wire is removed to prevent it from catching on food or other items stored in the cabinet.

7. The remaining probe wire should be neatly coiled and cable tied outside of the unit by where the probe sensor is installed.  Ensure that the remaining wire does not impede the door opening of the unit.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the metal tip of the probe wire is not in direct contact with the side wall or top wall of the unit.
