Locate the asset tag on the unit and match the asset ID to the sensor you are claiming in the DT Installer. For guidance on the location of asset tags review Asset Tag Locations
Clean and dry the surface, make sure no food or oil is present.
Install the sensor directly at the back of the bottom plate of the tier (the same surface that the food is stored on. Make sure the sensor is centered on the tier and that the sensor is at least 2 inches away from the back metal edge.
There will be a few locations that have Hot Spots that have metal grates on the bottom where the food is stored. In this case, mount the sensor centered on the back wall of the unit.
